What is the Priapus Shot(P-Shot)?

The Priapus Shot, commonly referred as the P-Shot is designed to improve sexual performance and pleasure in men, especially those who have lost function due to aging or any medical illness. 

How is P-Shot performed?

At Bedford Skin Clinic, we use Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for P-Shot.  PRP is produced from your own blood. The blood is drawn from the arm in the same way as with any blood test.  The blood goes through a special process of ‘’centrifugation’’ to isolate Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), then the PRP is injected using fine needles. 

The actual treatment takes about 15 minutes and a topical anaesthetic is used to reduce the discomfort. For our sensitive clients we offer local anaesthetic injections.

How does P-Shot work?

Platelet Rich Plasma releases the growth factors to enhance male sexual function. The resulting benefits typically include potential tissue growth that increases the length and girth of the penis (not guaranteed), growth of new blood vessels and improved circulation within the penis, stronger erections, increased sensation and pleasure and enhanced sexual performance. Many of these benefits are experienced immediately after receiving the injection.
