Product Description

Radiesse®®® (Bioform Inc, USA) is a sterile, latex-free, non-pyrogenic, semi-solid, cohesive subdermal, injectable implant, whose principal component is synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite(CAHA), a biocompatible material with over 20 years of use in medicine and naturally occurring mineral component of human bone and teeth. Radiesse®® contains CaHA microspheres (30%) suspended in an aqueous carboxymethylcellulose gel carrier (70%). The semi-solid nature of the product is created by suspending calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres of 25–45 microns diameter in a gel carrier of carboxymethylcellulose.

Upon injection, RADIESSE®® Volumising Filler immediately provides the volume and lift needed to diminish the signs of aging because of the calcium-based microspheres and gel that comprise the product.     • Side effects

    After the treatment some common injection-related reactions may occur, such as swelling, redness, pain, itching, discoloration and tenderness at the injection site. These typically resolve spontaneously within a few days after injection into the skin. Rare complications include lumps and nodule formation. This product is not suitable for lips.
